SEC is finally filing suit against Goldman Sachs and one of its senior officers.
It's better later than never, tho' it's SO really, really late. On the other hand, the so called senior officer is some small fry in Goldman Sachs, Why not go for the big shots?
The SEC itself, and the Fed (including Greenspan and Bernanke), and Treasury Secretaries from Rubin to Paulson to Guitner, all need to be prosecuted/punished/reprimanded/fired/replaced. Big bank exectives/rating agencies/media/academics...they all are part of the problem.
Legendary fund manager J Paulson who made a few billion dollars from subprime debacle, turns out to be a sleezy co-conspirator with Goldman Sachs in cheating the public and other dumb banks.
Words used to describe the financial crisis, its aftermath and people involved: greed/cheat/shameless and unrepenting/lack of accountability/rotten to the core.
