The thing I miss most about childhood is not knowing about all the terrible things happening in the world. It was great to have a life without any trouble, to sleep without stress, and never to worry about what might happen if I fail. One of my first memories is of the day I went to a store with my mom. She bought me one shiny red shoe. I don’t remember how old I was, but I do remember wearing the shoe all the way home. I wish I had a picture of me wearing the shoe. When my sister and I were younger, we used to fight a lot. Of course, I never won any fight. But when we were getting along, we used to play at a kindergarten nearby. There were many tresses that we could climb and sit in all day long. I also miss riding on my father’s shoulders and seeing the airplane taking off and landing. Those were always great times.
