It is said that young people don’t grow up; they merely grow older. In other words, they are accused of not maturing, of not growing up in responsible adults, and that since they refuse to be responsible for themselves, they make others responsible for them.:o)
But whose fault is that? Some say it is the fault of teachers and educators.:( Many of them are ill-prepared to teach. Even trained teachers do little thinking for themselves. And, in consequence, they do not encourage their students to think. Teaching students to think takes effort and time. And so, teachers easily slip into a method of instruction that demands more memorizing and does not stimulate thinking.:-B
To be fair, however, one cannot put all the blame on teachers.=D> They are, after all, part of the system.b-(
