The first Happy Meal came in a circus wagon box with a children’s meal and a small toy inside. If a farsighted collector had saved that first Happy Meal toy, he or she would have made a valuable investment. Early toy in mint condition are worth thousands of dollars today. Well, although fast-food toys were intended to attract children to the restaurants, they have become equally attractive to adult collectors. Many years ago, in Taiwan, where there was a great interest in collecting, we sometimes heard of collectors who stood in line for hours and even got involved in scuffles with other collectors over a new toy.
