Soros thinks the 60 year super boom since World War 2 is over. In other words, people will feel poorer in the future.
He also thinks the average people didn't benefit much from the boom in the last 20 years. "Only a few people like me have made enormous amount of money," he said.
In his analysis, there won't be a worldwide recession but there'll be one in US, the severity of which can't be predicted.
But another filthy rich billionaire businessman points out it's an economy on its back that presents the opportunity to make huge fortunes. Bargain deals abound, in other words.
So the already rich few will get even richer. Not a healthy and desirable scenario at all. I wouldn't like it even if I were among the rich few.
Yet the reality remains: so many people, so little resources.
Solution? Population control, better resource utilization, and better education and training.
