An unpublished poem by 徐志摩

夕陽銜山,
在東西的大道上,
有個飄飄的我.

風起了,
雁落了,
魂兒的滋味你知道嗎?

Could he actually have written it? Let me venture to translate it:

The evening sun is setting among mountains yonder
On east-west highway my spirit aimlessly wanders

The winds are slowly rising
Geese are gracefully landing

How much do you think you really know
What it's like to be a wandering soul?

The poem did appear in a newspaper after the poet's tragic death in a plane crash.

Possibilities:

1 Someone wrote the poem in his name and style.
2 The poet was afraid of flying and wrote the poem in case something happened.
3 Some ghost wrote it.
