but that alone isn't good enough without seperation of interests...the interest of big businesses and wealthy groups and that of politians, on both federal and local levels.
politics and money are one and inseperable almost everywhere, US and Taiwan included.
the government-big business complex, that ugly symbiosis...something need to be done to it.
seperation of interests is every bit as important as seperation of power, without which, it's at best a fake democracy.
