...Magnificent rocks carved by the sea lend a magical feeling to the fresh sea breeze and wonderful sea views.
I love San Sian Tai (三仙台) best. It is one of the most popular spots on the coast. A beautiful arched bridge links the mainland to a rocky island. Built to resemble a dragon, the bridge is a popular attraction in its on right.
After San Sian Tai our next destination is "Water Running Up (水往上流)," a small irrigation stream that originates in Dulan (都蘭)and seemingly runs uphill. Although we spend some time trying to work out the angles and geometry, it truly seems as if in at least one place on earth, water defies gravity and travels uphill. Illusion or not? We never found out, but have a fun time trying to work it out.
We take Route 9 towards Jhihben (知本) Hot Springs Area.....
