The question is why didn't the authorities that oversee and regulate such activities properly regulate as they should, whoever the authorities are?
Always somebody, if not this one then that one, fails to do their job. And everytime they fail but get away without getting punished.

If the Fed can create unlimited amount of money out of thin air, why hasn't the value of US dollar dropped like a falling stone to the bottom of the abyss?
