Friends wasn't just popular in the U.S. It has been a big hit all over the world. It has been broadcast in more than 30 countries worldwide, including Brazil, South Korea and Taiwan. It is estimated that almost half a billion people have watched all or some of the shows. Not bad for something "not clever, entertaining or original." We all need and enjoy having friends. Friends are different form family. We are born into a family, but we choose our friends. We need to choose our friends carefully because they will influence us greatly.
