The Israelites Leave Sinai
11.第二年二月二十日，雲彩從法櫃的帳幕收上去。
On the twentieth day of the second month of the second year, the cloud lifted from above the tabernacle of the covenant law.
12.以色列人就按站往前行，離開西乃的曠野，雲彩停住在巴蘭的曠野。
Then the Israelites set out from the Desert of Sinai and traveled from place to place until the cloud came to rest in the Desert of Paran.
13.這是他們照耶和華藉摩西所吩咐的，初次往前行。
They set out, this first time, at the LORD’s command through Moses.
14.按著軍隊首先往前行的是猶大營的纛。統領軍隊的是亞米拿達的兒子拿順。
The divisions of the camp of Judah went first, under their standard. Nahshon son of Amminadab was in command.
15.統領以薩迦支派軍隊的是蘇押的兒子拿坦業。
Nethanel son of Zuar was over the division of the tribe of Issachar,
16.統領西布倫支派軍隊的是希倫的兒子以利押。
and Eliab son of Helon was over the division of the tribe of Zebulun.
17.帳幕拆卸，革順的子孫和米拉利的子孫就擡著帳幕先往前行。
Then the tabernacle was taken down, and the Gershonites and Merarites, who carried it, set out.
18.按著軍隊往前行的是流便營的纛。統領軍隊的是示丟珥的兒子以利蓿。
The divisions of the camp of Reuben went next, under their standard. Elizur son of Shedeur was in command.
19.統領西緬支派軍隊的是蘇利沙代的兒子示路蔑。
Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai was over the division of the tribe of Simeon,
20.統領迦得支派軍隊的是丟珥的兒子以利雅薩。
and Eliasaph son of Deuel was over the division of the tribe of Gad.
21.哥轄人擡著聖物先往前行。他們未到以前，擡帳幕的已經把帳幕支好。
Then the Kohathites set out, carrying the holy things. The tabernacle was to be set up before they arrived.
22.按著軍隊往前行的是以法蓮營的纛。統領軍隊的是亞米忽的兒子以利沙瑪。
The divisions of the camp of Ephraim went next, under their standard. Elishama son of Ammihud was in command.
23.統領瑪拿西支派軍隊的是比大蓿的兒子迦瑪列。
Gamaliel son of Pedahzur was over the division of the tribe of Manasseh,
24.統領便雅憫支派軍隊的是基多尼的兒子亞比但。
and Abidan son of Gideoni was over the division of the tribe of Benjamin.
25.在諸營末後的是但營的纛，按著軍隊往前行。統領軍隊的是亞米沙代的兒子亞希以謝。
Finally, as the rear guard for all the units, the divisions of the camp of Dan set out under their standard. Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai was in command.
26.統領亞設支派軍隊的是俄蘭的兒子帕結。
Pagiel son of Okran was over the division of the tribe of Asher,
27.統領拿弗他利支派軍隊的是以南的兒子亞希拉。
and Ahira son of Enan was over the division of the tribe of Naphtali.
28.以色列人按著軍隊往前行，就是這樣。
This was the order of march for the Israelite divisions as they set out.
29.摩西對他岳父【或譯：內兄】米甸人流珥的兒子何巴說：「我們要行路，往耶和華所應許之地去；他曾說：『我要將這地賜給你們。』現在求你和我們同去，我們必厚待你，因為耶和華指著以色列人已經應許給好處。」
Now Moses said to Hobab son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law, 「We are setting out for the place about which the LORD said, 『I will give it to you.』 Come with us and we will treat you well, for the LORD has promised good things to Israel.」
30.何巴回答說：「我不去；我要回本地本族那裏去。」
He answered, 「No, I will not go; I am going back to my own land and my own people.」
31.摩西說：「求你不要離開我們；因為你知道我們要在曠野安營，你可以當作我們的眼目。
But Moses said, 「Please do not leave us. You know where we should camp in the wilderness, and you can be our eyes.
32.你若和我們同去，將來耶和華有甚麼好處待我們，我們也必以甚麼好處待你。」
If you came with us, we will share with you whatever good things the LORD gives us.」
33.以色列人離開耶和華的山，往前行了三天的路程；耶和華的約櫃在前頭行了三天的路程，為他們行尋找安歇的地方。
So they set out from the mountain of the LORD and traveled for three days. The ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them during those three days to find them a place to rest.
34.他們拔營往前行，日間有耶和華的雲彩在他們以上。
The cloud of the LORD was over them by day when they set out from the camp.
35.約櫃往前行的時候，摩西就說：「耶和華啊，求你興起！願你的仇敵四散！願恨你的人從你面前逃跑！」
Whenever the ark set out, Moses said, 「Rise up, LORD! May your enemies be scattered; may your foes flee before you.」
36.約櫃往停住的時候，他就說：「耶和華啊，求你回到以色列的千萬人中！」
Whenever it came to rest, he said, 「Return, LORD, to the countless thousands of Israel.」 |
