some call it "Cowboy Music", some call it "Western Music". whatever the term, it's one genre of music that's very original and of course now very nostalgic. some regard it as an early form of what is now called Country Music. some argue that it's definitely not Country Music. i guess Cowboy Music is probably to Country just as Rock n Roll is to Rock. and if that's the case, then all kinds of Rock people listen to nowadays are in some way offsprings of Cowboy Music...because Rock n Roll was the result of a gradual mixture of Country and Jazz in the 1940s. so if you love Rock, maybe you would like to know one of its grand-grand uncles is Cowboy Music. but what is Cowboy Music like? some familiar examples would be: Red River Valley I'll Take You Home Again, Kathleen Cattle Call Back In The Saddle Again Don't Fence Me In Down In The Valley Tumblin' Tumbleweeds
