16.耶和華對摩西說：
The LORD said to Moses,
17.「你告訴亞倫說：『你世世代代的後裔，凡有殘疾的，都不可近前來獻他 神的食物。
「Say to Aaron: 『For the generations to come none of your descendants who has a defect may come near to offer the food of his God.
18.因為凡有殘疾的，無論是瞎眼的、瘸腿的、塌鼻子的、肢體有餘的、
No man who has any defect may come near: no man who is blind or lame, disfigured or deformed;
19.折腳折手的、
no man with a crippled foot or hand,
20.駝背的、矮矬的、眼睛有毛病的、長癬的、長疥的，或是損壞腎子的，都不可近前來。
or who is a hunchback or a dwarf, or who has any eye defect, or who has festering or running sores or damaged testicles.
21.祭司亞倫的後裔，凡有殘疾的，都不可近前來，將火祭獻給耶和華。他有殘疾，不可近前來獻 神的食物。
No descendant of Aaron the priest who has any defect is to come near to present the food offerings to the LORD. He has a defect; he must not come near to offer the food of his God.
22. 神的食物，無論是聖的，至聖的，他都可以吃。
He may eat the most holy food of his God, as well as the holy food;
23.但不可進到幔子前，也不可就近壇前；因為他有殘疾，免得褻瀆我的聖所。我是叫他成聖的耶和華。』」
yet because of his defect, he must not go near the curtain or approach the altar, and so desecrate my sanctuary. I am the LORD, who makes them holy.』」
24.於是，摩西曉諭亞倫和亞倫的子孫，並以色列眾人。
So Moses told this to Aaron and his sons and to all the Israelites.
