was long ago in 60s and 70s that i had been to Boston and New York City.
after attending my nephew's wedding held in a small church on Harvard campus last weekend, we...me, my mother and my sister's family went driving around to Boston, NYC, and other scenic places in NH and Maine for holiday and sight-seeing. quite relaxing, climate couldn't be better and sceneries were heavenly.
but NYC is no more attractive to me like it once was when i was young. couldn't wait to get out of there. the traffic, crowds, noises, skyscrapers: the asphault jungle and all that stuff...maybe unique in US, but i've had enough of it already in Asia. it may be a financial center and a melting pot of different races, a center for fashion and various forms of arts and music. but thanks, i don't particularly fancy haste, crowdedness, noise and air pollution, all which are but vexation to my soul.
