Mr Marc Faber, nicknamed Dr Doom, is a well known contrarian investor and the publisher of his famous investment newsletter "Gloom, Boom & Doom". This time he stepped out of his field and touched on sensitive issues of race and colonialism. Result? He was attacked left, right and center.
While his comments were admittedly controversial, it's most interesting to watch how people react to the matter.
He may or may not be a bigot, but his critics are hypocrites for sure.
By the way, only Chinese condemn Japanese for the Nanking Massacre and their denial of it. Almost all the rest of the world just keeps mum, including Mr Faber's fellow Europeans. If he too condemns Japanese for their beastly acts and moral cowardness, then I take my hat off to him!
