I tell him Henry Ford. I am wrong. Many people will tell you Henry Ford invented the automobile. They are wrong either. Henry Ford was the first to use the assembly-line method of automobile production. He made a lot of cars and was able to price them so ordinary people could afford them. Before Henry Ford, most auto production was done one at a time. A team of workers would fit all the parts together to complete a car, and then start on the next one. It was slow work.
