My poet friend said to me the other day that "The politicians nowadays are rats and don't have a thread of dignity in their words, their deeds, and their looks."
He was probably talking about local politicians here in Taiwan.
I not only agreed but ventured to suggest that one could make a universal generalization of what he said:
All politicians on this earth are rats and don't have a shred of dignity in their words, deeds and even their looks.
