There is only one China.
I have no problem with that.
The thing is, my definition of the term "China" could be drastically different from that of others.
To me, China encompasses the mainland, Taiwan and other big and small islands.
Before 1948, there was only one China and there was only one central government in China.
Its official name was The Republic of China.
After 1948 there are 2 central governments in that China, one in mainland, one in Taiwan.
The former is called People's Republic of China while the other retains the old name: Republic of China.
So "China" today has 2 governments.
It's stupid and idiotic to say that "China" means and refers to People's Republic of China only. It's simply not the fact. To so claim would be a textbook case of making a "factual error". Twisting the fact to fit one's political view only shows that person's intellectual inadequacy.
