I desperately reached out for help to those few from whom I expected at least some moral support.
Did I get any?
None, almost.
Family members showed token concern.
Only one friend had spent time and tried genuinely to help.
You'd be lucky if you can find half a dozen people in this world, including parents, siblings, children and spouse, who'd continuously be willing to offer help in times of need.
So do your best to help yourself.
Expect little, if not nothing, from others.
Be somewhat flexible and resourceful and get around your problems, one way or another, by hook or by crook.
Better still, turn yourself from being miserable to being mesmerizing, like they would never believe.
