What Taiwan urgently needs is a smart, tough and hawkish president.
Ma may be doing a good job in National Defense and Foreign Relations.
But he certainly doesn't know how to enforce law when it comes to domestic affairs.
He and his appointed deputies let politically motivated mob call the shots and break the law any way they want.
The Ma team hasn't got the least of guts.
But nor do most citizens who live on this island.
When mob run amok, law enforcers stand by, watch, and wait to be pushed, shoveled and kicked.
Mostl menbers of the society remain mum and silent as well.
Few have got the moral courage to confront the mob and the visible hand behind it.
