it was a two and a half hour lesson,
i was in the middle of the lesson,
as usual,
he will give me lots of trouble,
ranging from talking for a long time to excusing him to the toilet,
then,
he wanted to call his mother,
just a trick to scare me off,
but apparently,
he forgot to cancel the call and it turned out that,
his mother has been listening for half an hour of our conversation,
though i don t feel ashamed of anything,
as during that half an hour,
i believe i have tried my best in guiding him...
everything happened very quickly,
his mother then came by,
and without telling any reasons,
she asked her son to pack and leave,
i knew immediately something had gone wrong...
we waited for his son to leave before we have this little conversation,
i told his mother about his misbehavoiur which i have always wanted to tell her but could not do so,
her mother just nodded her head and listen,
i listed some examples,
his son wanted me to press the calculator and calculate the answer for him, does it make sense?
his son wanted me to write down the steps (while he said it verbally), does it make sense?
i do not know if other tutors have encountered the same situation before?
but i do know that,
i need to reflect on myself...
i believe i am responsible for his termination,
which i felt strongly sorry about,
i really hope that he could do well in his examination and score well in his tests,
i need to learn from other teachers how to handle such a student,
he brings me joy and sorrow at the same time,
sometimes,
he could cause a lot of troubles but,
other times,
he will still listen to my instructions,
now that this relationship ends,
i have to admit that i do feel a sense of relieved,
yet how do you describe the sense of sadness that overwhelms me ?
he is the first student that i have to let go ...
