There are 94 days till 2007. @};-A position a day: The understudy. The only way to prove to someone that they have misjudged me is through my actions. Words are wasted in protesting my innocence. In fact, they are counterproductive because they come across as defensive and desperate. The strong person takes it on the chin and simply continues on his or her way, proving by the way that they behave that there is no basis for the judgment of them that has taken place. The superior person shows that he or she is able to withstand the blows and continue standing. Inside I may be smarting a bit, but on the outside I take no shots back nor display self-pitying behavior. I can't stop what someone is going to initially think about me, but I sure can give them second thoughts by the way I react to their initial judgments. @};-
