If you ask how Dow is doing, it depends on which Dow you are talking about.
There has been a divergence: Dow Industrials has been doing well while Dow Transports has not.
This Dow Theory thing has been around for more than a century and most serious analysts or long term stock investors in West are quite familiar with it. You too probably should if you are not yet.
