If I were going to vote in the next presidential election, I'd definitely give my vote to Ron Paul. He is one of the last few sane, honest, and uncorrupted politicians left on Capitol Hill.
He is probably the only hope for America to get out of the current political and economic mess.
He might even be able to help save the long lost soul of this country that has been run by corporatism, imperialism/militarism, and biased news media.
Imperialism and militarism? Isn't that a bit exaggerated? If you have any doubt, it only shows what a good job mainstream news media has done in misinforming and brainwashing the public all these years. And for heaven's sake, you should know who controls the American media and also their agenda.
Big corporations, military-industrial complex, Washington-Wall Street symbiosis, government propoganda and biased media dominate and control the minds and lives of naive and unsuspecting Americans.
So while “War is Peace. Freedom is Slavery. Ignorance is Strength." is only a slogan in George Orwell's "1984", that slogan has become a description of the real world, here in America and also in many other countries.
Average Americans go for charisma, showmanship and rhetoric instead of reasons and truth during election times. They pay a dear price for that by electing politicians who eventually sell them out.
