I feel the pinch again, because CPC has raised the gas price. Price of gas goes up again. I discuss the issue with an experienced carman and he offers me some tips to use fuel efficiently. First of all, when I am on the freeway, be sure slow down. I increase my speed; my fuel consumption rises dramatically. He suggests me stay within posted speed limits, stop aggressive driving, avoid unnecessary idling. Turn off the engine if I anticipate a wait. Don't start and stop your car all the time. Remove excess weight from the trunk. Also, it's hard to believe, but rolling down the windows when I drive eats up more gas than running the air conditioning. The drag coefficient that occurs from the wind means my car has to work harder to get me where I am going.
CPC hikes gas prices and I form a new driving habit from now on…
