得財致患大痲瘋
25.基哈西進去，站在他主人面前。以利沙問他說：「基哈西你從哪裏來？」回答說：「僕人沒有往哪裏去。」
When he went in and stood before his master, Elisha asked him, 「Where have you been, Gehazi?」 「Your servant didn’t go anywhere,」 Gehazi answered.
26.以利沙對他說：「那人下車轉回迎你的時候，我的心豈沒有去呢？這豈是受銀子、衣裳、買橄欖園、葡萄園、牛羊、僕婢的時候呢？
But Elisha said to him, 「Was not my spirit with you when the man got down from his chariot to meet you? Is this the time to take money or to accept clothes—or olive groves and vineyards, or flocks and herds, or male and female slaves?
27.因此，乃縵的大痲瘋必沾染你和你的後裔，直到永遠。」基哈西從以利沙面前退出去，就長了大痲瘋，像雪那樣白。
Naaman’s leprosy will cling to you and to your descendants forever.」 Then Gehazi went from Elisha’s presence and his skin was leprous—it had become as white as snow.
An Axhead Floats
第六章 2 Kings 6
1.先知門徒對以利沙說：「看哪，我們同你所住的地方過於窄小，
The company of the prophets said to Elisha, 「Look, the place where we meet with you is too small for us.
2.求你容我們往約但河去，各人從那裏取一根木料建造房屋居住。」他說：「你們去吧！」
Let us go to the Jordan, where each of us can get a pole; and let us build a place there for us to meet.」 And he said, 「Go.」
3.有一人說：「求你與僕人同去。」回答說：「我可以去。」
Then one of them said, 「Won’t you please come with your servants?」 「I will,」 Elisha replied.
4.於是以利沙與他們同去。到了約但河，就砍伐樹木。
And he went with them. They went to the Jordan and began to cut down trees.
5.有一人砍樹的時候，斧頭掉在水裏，他就呼叫說：「哀哉！我主啊，這斧子是借的。」
As one of them was cutting down a tree, the iron axhead fell into the water. 「Oh no, my lord!」 he cried out. 「It was borrowed!」
6.神人問說：「掉在哪裏了？」他將那地方指給以利沙看。以利沙砍了一根木頭，拋在水裏，斧頭就漂上來了。
The man of God asked, 「Where did it fall?」 When he showed him the place, Elisha cut a stick and threw it there, and made the iron float.
7.以利沙說：「拿起來吧！」那人就伸手拿起來了。
「Lift it out,」 he said. Then the man reached out his hand and took it. |
