It'll be a good idea to let Republicans take over the Congress in the coming election if they can fix all the problems US is now facing. But I doubt they can. I even think the already bad enough problems will become worse in the hands of Republicans.
On the other hand, I do think the Obama administration could have done a much better job but they didn't.
Would US muddle through the current economic mess, or would the floor eventually fall off? Nobody really knows although everybody thinks they do.
